Integrate with ConnectWise Control

We've had a few partners mention that they'd like us to integrate with ConnectWise Control.
If you think this might be useful to you, could I ask that you leave a comment with how you might want to use TimeZest with Control?

Jason Langenauer - any updates on this request? Looking at CW it should be possible to add the permissions to our custom Tz role to allow it to grab the specific Control URL direct from the CW Manage ticket. If the Timezest can update their integration to do it that is all that is needed IMO - no need to build an integration directly with Control at least to start....

Jason Langenauer - the reason this would be super useful would be if you could add the ticket-specific Control URL to the calendar invites sent from Timezest. See screenshots attached that show how we currently create this (manually within the edit ticket screen inside ConnectWise Manage). The advantage of generating sessions this way is that the client can just click the link to download that session directly, and the chat history and session details are added to the internal ticket notes inside Manage.

I'm not sure that I see the value of this. We already include the URL to the Control web page to Join Remote Sessions in the email template for TimeZest support appointments, just in case we need to create an ad-hoc remote control session. I'm not sure what other type of integration is needed here.

If it was able to pull the Agent ID from the computer used to schedule with TimeZest and put it in the CW ticket notes, that'd be nice. Though probably not easy to do.

After booking the time, when the client gets the invite emailed to them, the calendar item has the specific ticket-connected url for a Control session.

I’d like the customer to be able to automatically get sent the download link to the support session so they can be ready at the first ring of the support call.
