We've just finished developing a way for individual members to log in to TimeZest. This will allow them to see the URLs for URL-based scheduling and shareable URLs, as well as set their own availability (if permitted by administrators). Plus we have further exciting plans for this in the future...
They way we've done this is to combine members and administrators in TimeZest, with a "role" attribute which controls what a particular person can do.
You don't need to invite existing members or anything like that - if they try to login, TimeZest will send them an email which will allow them to set up their account (and so confirming their email address). As well, TimeZest can even be set up to allow users who it hasn't seen before, but who have a email domain matching one you configure to be automatically added to your account (again, after confirmation).
This functionality is currently hidden behind a feature flag, but if you'd like to give it a try, let me know, and I'll turn it on for your account.

Jason Langenauer: Hi Jason, would you be able to enable this for us if its still a hidden feature? (I'm a bit late to the party!)
Jason Langenauer
Luke Stead: Hi Luke, it's been turned on for everyone now. Details here: https://help.timezest.com/en/articles/5230466-individual-user-logins-for-timezest

Jason Langenauer: Amazing. Thanks for such a quick response!

Jason Langenauer: Just to confirm, is the ability to add their lunch periods included in this?
Jason Langenauer
Luke Stead: They can set their own availability, but that's limited - for now - to one period per day. We'll be adding support for multiple availability blocks per day in the coming months.

Why not just create a schedule entry in your ConnectWise Calendar? That'll block off the time...
Q
Quinton Morrissey
Paul Brunet: It's more for stuff like Lunch times since we don't really block that off regularly and changes day to day.

We've just developed what we're calling the "Member Portal" which can be added as a custom menu entry to ConnectWise Manage. It allows individual techs to see all their own scheduling requests, adjust their availability, and also generate URLs for URL-Based Scheduling Shareable URLs.
We're looking for partners who would like to try this out, and give us some feedback before we make it available to everyone. Would you be interested?
Kind regards,
Jason

We're waiting on ConnectWise to make SSO available to vendors like us before implementing this, otherwise we'll have to basically build an authentication system, then replace it when SSO becomes available (and later mandated).

Jack Skinner
Jason Langenauer: We have CW SSO and we can test both of these out for you.

Also if techs have individual logins to create blackout windows they should also be given the URL-based Scheduling section so they can create URLs for their self.
