Allow the use of different board statuses per activity
Adrian VanderLaan
We have two status on our tickets for scheduling. One is "Scheduled remote" and the other is "Scheduled Onsite". This allows us to send different emails to clients and trigger different workflows. Right now TimeZest is restricted to only being able to select one status per board. We would like to have the flexibility to select a unique status per activity type.

With TimeZest's new workflows feature, you may be able to build something that does this for you, provided that you know in advance which board the tickets will be on, and they won't be on multiple boards.
The way you can do this is to use the "Move Ticket to Board and Status" action. By adding this to the workflow for each appointment type in the "Client schedule appointment" trigger, and removing the existing "Update to a pre-configured status" action, you could configure each appointment type to update the ticket to a specific status after scheduling.
The caveat is that, because statuses are related to boards, you'd have to be sure that the ticket is already on the configured board, otherwise TimeZest will move it to the board.
But this solution might work for some of you, so I'll mention it here.

I should add, this applies to ConnectWise Manage only - in Autotask, which has global* statuses, you can configure it exactly as you want.
Here's the documentation for the "Move Ticket to Board and Status" action:
* - they're not quite global, as they're scoped to categories, but we find they're near enough in the way people use them.

We just ran into an great use case for this. Instead of just "Appt. Scheduled" we would like to use "Appt. Scheduled Onsite" and "Appt. Scheduled Remote" so we can easily identify what type of appointment it is by looking at the ticket status. Would be nice to define different statuses to use for different appointment types.

Yes it would be great for there to be a status override option at the meeting type level. Otherwise the board default applies. This would be extremely useful for many use cases. One meeting type might trigger a status to automate compliance with the various SLA statuses.

We do the same thing, and we would love to see this.

We have the same setup. Would love to have this ability.
