Allow dispatchers to reassign a scheduled appointment
in progress
Jason Langenauer
It's sometimes necessary to assign a scheduled appointment to a different tech, for example because the tech is sick on the day.
TimeZest should allow dispatchers to reassign an appointment to another resource (free at the same time), and notify the customer of the change (including updated video call URLs etc).

I covered this with Jason already but just to keep the notes here... we (the service provider) should be able to SET an appointment from the (Autotask) Ticket (Insight) if we already worked out a time with the client out of band (meaning not via TimeZest). Setting the appointment from the TimeZest Ticket widget/insight should then use TimeZest mechanisms to send email notice (with reschedule links) and calendar meeting info. Jason pointed out that I could open the URL myself from the Ticket insight widget and set the appointment from the URL provided webpage - the UIX is a little unintuitive and would be nice if there was a calendar popout presenested from the widget/insight on the ticket; or at very least have a URL option that says something like, "Set Meeting" which takes the user to the web page. Looking forward to seeing this feature come out.

We are getting ready to share this feature request with our engineers to start building! Thank you all who have participated and shared your feedback to help us with the design.

We should be able to add/drop guests too in the appointment edit.

Any of the stakeholders should be allowed to reassign the appointment.

This would be a great feature update for our team! I just want to add a comment on this to see if we can get this reviewed!

This would be really helpful for us.
We're using TZ for people to book slots BEFORE the ticket is assigned - so it is assigned to a dispatch/manager.
Then, they have to manually flag this to another user.
Would be good if we can have something to automate this a bit more.
