Action to send a Microsoft Teams DM
complete
Jason Langenauer
A workflow action which could send a customizable message to the scheduled team member (where we can associate them with a Microsoft Teams account).
This could be used, for example, to send a reminder in Microsoft Teams to the scheduled user15 minutes before an appointment they have.

TimeZest can now send direct messages to a Microsoft Teams channel or directly to the scheduled users! This is another way to stay reminded when a scheduled meeting is coming up. There are setup steps to get the integration started which you can take a look at here:

Teams - post when a meeting is scheduled

It would be great if TZ could post onto a Teams channel when a meeting is booked. (using webhook or otherwise)
This could work alongside acknowledgements (https://roadmap.timezest.com/feature-requests/p/acknowledgement-functionality) and would ensure the support team are fully aware what's scheduled in.
Our manager/dispatch could then ensure every booking is accounted for!

Hi Harry, I've got this working myself by using Microsoft Flow as we're using O365 - it should also be possible with Zapier or Tray.io if not. Effectively, the Flow monitors my mailbox for emails from the account we use to send out schedule requests, when a new email comes in it extracts the content and then posts it to Teams as an adaptive card as per attached image. Takes a bit of setting up but it works for me!
